Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador referred to the United Nations (UN) as "stagnant" on Thursday, following a report indicating an increase in drug trafficking and drug consumption in the country.
"The UN is very stagnant, they are not doing their job, they are not doing anything to combat the world's main problem, which is inequality.
They are not doing anything to prevent wars either," expressed the president during his daily press conference.
